Shame (The Guilt Trip Express)

Inside, Mom's kitchen is a certified Shame Containment Zone. Shame arrives as a cloud of mothballs and passive-aggressive sighs. Miro's drowning in memories of past fashion choices and that one time he accidentally set the toaster on fire. Mom's voice, however, is a Teflon shield against guilt: "Darling, even your failures are Pinterest-worthy in their own special way." She wraps him in a quilt knitted from old regrets and cat hair, and for a moment, Shame is just a grumpy houseguest who needs a nap.

Transition: The kitchen clock ticks with the urgency of a reality TV show countdown. Two doors shimmer into view: one labeled "Netflix & Self-Loathing," the other "Adulting 101 (May Cause Existential Crisis)."
