Journey Through the Shadows
Song #4 of the Concept Album "Fiercracker"

In another workshop Christopher shares a message about wholeness through a memory of when he was six months old. This catalyzes a trip down memory lane for Professor Chen, a place filled with childhood memories both joyful and haunting. Here, Emily’s young self encountered the shadow of death, a brush with mortality that left her with lingering questions. Now, as an adult, she bravely revisits these shadows to search for answers.
Through meditation, yoga, and art, she reawakens parts of herself she’d buried, drawing on these experiences to craft a sense of wholeness. Her journey into the shadows becomes a rite of healing, leading her closer to inner peace.

/JOURNEY THROUGH THE SHADOWS
[Verse]
By Culver's Lake, a memory born
Young child’s psyche, a circle formed
At two years old, death came so near
Spirit and matter, the line unclear
[Chorus]
Christopher's journey, a spiritual arc
Through the light and into the dark
Each step a lesson, each breath a prayer
Seeking wholeness everywhere
[Verse]
A murmured heart slowed his pace
Yoga and art filled that space
At seventeen, Kundalini rise
Awakening the eternal sky
[Chorus]
Christopher's journey, a spiritual arc
Through the light and into the dark
Each step a lesson, each breath a prayer
Seeking wholeness everywhere
[Verse]
Wind Chant's music led the way
To Colorado, where he would finally stay
Naropa and Montessori, became a student
Trading ascension for embodiment
[Instrumental]
[Bridge]
Love's lessons came in twos
Andrea, then Sara, different hues
Two bouts with COVID, insights fertile
Inner shapes and his soul kernel
[Chorus]
Christopher's journey, a spiritual arc
Through the light and into the dark
Each step a lesson, each breath a prayer
Finding wholeness everywhere
[Verse]
Enneagram's faces of the divine
Herms lubricating life design
A contingent aligning with the core
This would be his final score
[Chorus]
Christopher's journey, a spiritual arc
Through the light and into the dark
Each step a lesson, each breath a prayer
Finding wholeness everywhere
